Five questions now, full version later

A starting point that is actually yours.

A short, private set of questions that gives you a clear picture of where you are, rather than a generic recommendation aimed at nobody in particular.

The full assessment will be free with no account. It is not finished, so the short version is on this page instead.
The problem, named

You have been given answers to a question nobody asked you.

Search anything about desire and you get the same four recommendations, in the same order, regardless of what is actually happening in your body.

Take a supplement. Try a toy. Communicate more. Do some self care. None of it is wrong exactly. All of it assumes your situation, and the odds of guessing right are poor, because at least four completely different things send people looking.

So you try the wrong thing first, it does not work, and you draw the obvious conclusion: that the problem is you. It is not. It is that nobody asked which conversation you were having before they started answering.

Why an assessment at all

Generic advice fails because it answers a question you did not ask.

Most sexual wellness content assumes one problem and one solution. Low desire, here is a supplement. Pain, here is a lubricant. It rarely asks which of several quite different situations you are actually in.

Desire that has faded gradually over years is a different problem from desire that stopped after a specific event. Pain that is new is different from pain that has always been there. Disconnection from your body is different again, and it responds to almost none of the things the other two do.

The point of an assessment is to work out which conversation you are having before anyone recommends anything.

The short version, available now

Five questions. Nothing recorded, nothing sent.

Sit with these on your own. There is no scoring and no right answer, and where each one leads is underneath it.

1 · When did it change?Gradually over years, or from a particular point you could name? Gradual usually points at hormonal or life stage change. A specific point usually points at something else entirely, and the two need different starting places.
2 · Is anything uncomfortable or painful?Physical discomfort changes the order of everything. If sex hurts, that is the thing to address first, before desire, technique or anything else. It is also the symptom most likely to be dismissed by a busy clinician.
3 · How do you feel about your own body right now?Not how it looks. How connected to it you feel, and whether you can tell what it wants. Disconnection is its own situation and responds to almost none of what works for the others.
4 · Is there someone else in this?A partner changes what is possible and what is difficult, and it is entirely reasonable to want to work on this alone first. Many people do.
5 · What would actually be different? If this improved, what would you notice? Not the outcome you think you are supposed to want. The one that would make an ordinary week feel different.

If question two got a yes, start there. If question one pointed at a specific event, RECLAIMED is the right door and it is gentler than anything else here. If it pointed at gradual change and you are over 40, start with your stage.

What it costs you to try

Nothing, in every sense.

The usual reason not to start something like this is not money. It is what it might ask of you, and who might find out.

  • No money, now or later. The assessment is free and stays free.
  • No account, so there is nothing to log into and nothing under your name.
  • Nothing stored. Your answers are not kept, and we could not look at them if we wanted to.
  • No obligation. Getting your result and doing nothing with it is a perfectly reasonable outcome, and it happens often.
  • Nothing to explain. Not to a partner, not to us, not in a form.
Common questions

Answered plainly.

Will the full assessment really be free?
Yes, and with no account. That is the intention and it is why it is taking a while: something free still has to be good enough to be worth your time.
Is any of this recorded?
Not the five questions on this page. There is no form, nothing is sent anywhere, and nothing is stored. Sit with them and close the tab.
Will it tell me what is wrong with me?
No, and nothing that claims to should be trusted. It will help you work out which of several quite different situations you are in, so that what you read next is aimed at you rather than at everyone.
Is this a diagnosis?
No. It is education, from an educator rather than a clinician. If something hurts, or has changed suddenly, that is a conversation for your doctor and the Doctor Script helps you have it.
When will it launch?
No date yet, and we would rather not invent one. The five questions above are the honest interim version.

This page is education, not medical advice. It does not diagnose anything and is not a substitute for your doctor. If you are experiencing pain, bleeding, or a sudden change, please see a clinician.
