Three pieces

Small, quiet, and easier to start with than you think.

Compact vibrating pieces you can hold, wear or use internally. They are the least intimidating way into all of this, and often the one people keep using long after they have bought something bigger.

What they actually are

A shape, not a category of experience.

"Vibrating egg" describes a form rather than a function: small, smooth, usually rechargeable, sometimes remote controlled.

Which means people arrive here wanting three quite different things. Something discreet and precise for external use. Something to wear, with a remote. Or weighted internal pieces that also vibrate, which are really pelvic floor trainers doing two jobs at once.

We stock one of each rather than fifteen variations, and the descriptions below say plainly which is which.

How to choose

Start with where you want to feel it.

These three are not versions of each other. Picking by price rather than by purpose is the most common way to end up with the wrong one.

  • External, and this is your first? Buzz at $39. One button, precise, nothing to learn.
  • Want it internal, with a remote? Soma at $59. Ten modes, wireless, and it strengthens the pelvic floor while you use it.
  • Pelvic floor is the real reason? Soma+ at $69, five progressive weights, which is the proper programme.
  • Actually want suction rather than vibration? Bloom at $69 is a different sensation entirely, and our best seller.

Using them well

  • Water based lubricant with silicone pieces. Silicone lubricant degrades silicone toys over time.
  • Anything internal needs a retrieval cord or a flared base. All three here have one.
  • Start on the lowest setting. You can always go up. Starting high is how people decide vibration is not for them.
  • Pelvic floor training is not a race. Short sessions, consistently, beat long ones occasionally.

Cleaning and storage

  • Warm water and a mild soap after every use, or a dedicated toy cleaner.
  • Dry fully before storing. Non porous still means dry.
  • Store separately, not touching other silicone, which can react over time.
  • Charge before storing for long periods, since batteries degrade fully flat.

Common questions

Answered plainly.

Is a bullet or an internal piece better for a first purchase?
A bullet, almost always. It is external, cheap, and requires nothing of you. Most people who buy something internal first and never use it again did not dislike it, they just started with the harder thing.
Are the kegel sets actually vibrating eggs?
Soma and Soma+ are weighted internal sets that vibrate and take a remote, so they answer what most people mean when they search for this. They are also genuine pelvic floor trainers, which is a second reason to own one.
Can I wear one out of the house?
Soma has a wireless remote and is designed to stay in place, so yes. Start at home first and on the lowest setting, for reasons that will become obvious.
Which lubricant should I use?
Water based, with all three of these. Silicone lubricant degrades silicone toys over time. The full guide is here.
How discreet is delivery?
Plain outer packaging with no branding or product names, a neutral sender name, and a discreet descriptor on your statement. If it arrives any other way, the order is free.

Barely products are for personal wellness and pleasure. They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. If you have a pelvic floor condition, or you are pregnant or postpartum, speak to your doctor or a pelvic health physiotherapist before starting a training programme.
